Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a natural system of medicine used by millions of people across Europe and is particularly popular in India and parts of South America. It’s based on the idea that the body has a natural ability to heal itself. Homeopathic remedies stimulate the healing process in a safe and effective way. The remedies are non-toxic and non-addictive, making them safe to use at every stage of life. This includes women who are pregnant or hoping to get pregnant. Patients are treated as unique individuals and symptoms are viewed in relation to the body as a whole. A homeopath looks at how physical, mental and emotional symptoms relate to each other before prescribing any medicine. Homeopathy is suitable for acute conditions and more long-term chronic conditions.

The first appointment takes about 90 minutes. In order to restore your body back to a healthy balance, a homeopath needs to build a complete picture of your condition, including past medical history, lifestyle, diet and emotional wellbeing. Follow-up appointments are from 30-45 minutes.

Homeopathic medicine can take the form of tablets, liquid tinctures and sometimes powders. You will be given directions when and how to take the medicine. A homeopath may also give you advice about diet, lifestyle and taking other energy-based medicine.
