The essential oils, extracted from aromatic plants, affect the oldest part of the brain called the limbic system which affects mood, memories and also the chemical messengers of the body. The oils reach the brain both by inhalation and via the skin and bloodstream during massage.
An aromatherapy massage combines the therapeutic action of the oils – which may be relaxing, calming & centring or refreshing, stimulating and energising – with the hands-on massage to aid circulation and lymph movement as well as releasing muscle tension. It is a very effective way of restoring vitality and balance to those worn down by stress and anxiety.

Facial Cupping Massage

Please contact Karen directly to book this treatment

A deeply relaxing massage of shoulders, neck and face with optional head massage using pure coconut nut oil. Cupping can be used on the face and the body to stimulate the skin and muscles. Small soft facial silicon cups gently pull the skin away from the deeper layers of fascia. This increases blood flow to the area and rejuvenates the skin without leaving cup marks behind. The benefits have shown to increase circulation and stimulate the cells responsible for collagen production which can show as improvement over time by minimizing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and tightening the jawline.
